DIRECTOR
Allan Mua Illingworth is a Monitoring and Evaluation specialist with extensive experience in international development across the Pacific. As the Director of Mua’akia Consulting, he leads the design and implementation of MEL systems, emphasizing locally-led and culturally responsive approaches. With a career spanning over 20 years, he has worked with organizations such as SPC, DFAT, UNDP, and La Trobe University, supporting strategic planning, research, and performance monitoring to enhance development outcomes in the region.
ASSOCIATE: SENIOR RESEARCH AND MEL
Marilyn Vilsoni has over a decade of expertise, and specialises in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL); project and strategic management; Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI); and market systems development (MSD) within private sector development (PSD). Her experience spans across diverse sectors, including business development services, outsourcing, tourism, and agriculture in Fiji and the broader Pacific region. She has managed MEL/Research for MDF and other UN and DFAT initiatives.
MEL AND RESEARCH OFFICER
Ruveni Matanaicake is a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research Officer with a background in environmental science and data analysis. He has experience in research, quality assurance, and stakeholder coordination across the Pacific, supporting organizations such as SPC, FCDO, UNDP, and ABT Global. His work focuses on conducting research, analyzing data, and ensuring that MEL approaches are inclusive, culturally responsive, and aligned with Pacific development priorities.
MEL AND RESEARCH INTERN
Asenaca Raikoti is a MEL and Research Intern at Mua’akia Consulting with a legal background and a strong interest in environmental law and human rights. She supports research and evaluation work that promotes inclusive, locally-led development across the Pacific.
